Circular content creation for Primera
Convenience chain Primera uses various materials for every campaign they run. They do this with a 360° approach, developing brochures, in-store POS materials, sidewalk posters, banners, newsletters, and commercials in a cohesive manner. All in all, a large number of materials that look alike but each serve their own purpose. Thanks to Kega's circular content creation, all these materials are efficiently and optimally designed and delivered.
The situation
Every touchpoint has its own rules and its own goal. For example, a brochure should entice people to visit a store, a banner should lead to a click-through to the website or webshop, and a checkout poster should drive upsells. Additionally, as an organization, you want all these materials to have the same look and feel that aligns with the brand or campaign. The more touchpoints and materials are used, the greater the challenge to maintain this consistency without compromising the goal of each touchpoint.
Primera runs many large campaigns throughout the year, using a variety of touchpoints. The solution
In circular content creation, the total mix of resources used during the campaign is assessed right from the start. Based on this mix, it is discussed which images and texts are needed to make the most of the touchpoints. By having insight into what is needed from the beginning, the right images and texts are developed immediately. These images and texts then form the foundation for the design and layout of all touchpoints. For example, when designing the brochure, Kega differentiates between the physical brochure and the digital brochure. Digital brochures are almost always viewed on a smartphone, so they don't have spreads. This, for instance, affects full-page headings, and images of multibuy promotions are approached very differently.
