UX stands for user experience. UX is all about how a user experiences a product or service. This includes all aspects of the user's interaction with the company, its services and products. UX design aims to improve user friendliness, accessibility and satisfaction: the overall picture. It involves understanding the user's needs and wants and designing a product or service that meets these expectations.

UI stands for user interface, and focuses on the visual elements of a product. This includes everything a user sees and interacts with, such as buttons, colours, typography and layout. Also known as the 'look and feel'. UI design ensures that the interface is not only aesthetically pleasing, but also intuitive and user-friendly.

Although UX and UI design are separate specialisms, they work closely together to create a successful final product: UX design defines the structure and functionality, while UI design brings this structure to life with visual and interactive elements.

We start the UX/UI process with research among users and stakeholders. We then take this feedback into the development of wireframes and prototypes. Through the UX design, we ensure that the user of a web shop or app is able to make choices faster. When delivering the UI design, we design the 'look and feel'.
